Originally from Southern California, I have a deep love for learning about the natural world that has inspired my artistic career. With a Bachelor’s in Design and Biology from San Jose State and a Master’s in Scientific Illustration from Zuyd University in the Netherlands, I have tailored my education in art and design to apply to the causes I care about. My lifelong training in traditional fundamental drawing and design techniques have given me extensive anatomical education and draftsmanship skills, allowing me to develop concepts for any project’s purposes.

Passionate about contributing to environmental and social justice, I love to work with scientists, non-profits, creatives, and driven people working to make a difference. Through years of collaborating with scientists, educators, and communicators in diverse fields, I have learned the power of effective communication in creating a unified vision for any team’s mission. I believe in the power of accessible and usable design, and am passionate about bringing this to causes that educate and inspire.
