Coral Vita Welcome Center Poster Designs

These informative infographics containing both rendered and vector graphic illustrations were made in collaboration with Coral Vita, an organization in The Bahamas working to restore the world’s coral reefs through their innovative coral farms. The infographics were created to be displayed in their new Welcome Center that serves as an educational public offset of their coral farm to inform visitors of the importance of coral reefs while explaining the science behind their research and conservation efforts. Working with the layout of the space these would be displayed in, I created this series to tell the story of Coral Vita alongside the context of what corals are, why they are important to our planet, and what we can do to protect them.

Cycad Zoo

Master’s Thesis

Below you can see the different segments of my Master’s thesis. I studied the different ways art and design can benefit causes in conservation by exploring two vastly different topics: snaring of African lions, and strandings of whales on the Dutch coast. I worked with Dr. Alexander Braczkowski who is a National Geographic explorer and researches and photographs lion populations in Africa, and scientists at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in the Netherlands.
