Cycads have been around since the age of the dinosaurs. Today, they face complex threats towards their conservation. Collaborating with scientists from the Cal Academy of Science in San Francisco, I created original merch designs for a Kickstarter campaign designed to raise funds to contribute to their conservation.

Inspired by their ancient history, we designed graphics of 5 unique cycad species and paired them each with a different dinosaur. These vector illustrations feature the cycads and dinos in ancient scenes, giving us a variety of possibilities for merch ideas to raise funding, from digital screensavers to prints. We also used the individual graphics of each cycad and dino design for stickers, pins, and more.
